[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Bluetooth sync fails and hangs The
Missing Sync

I have The Missing Sync 4.0.5 and am running Mac OS X 10.4.2 Tiger.
I have a Tungsten T5.
I can successfully and consistently sync via USB cable without any
problems.
When I sync via Bluetooth, it almost always fails. The Palm says
something like "the connection was lost" and quits, and The Missing
Sync looks like it's happily syncing forever.
Clicking the 'Cancel' button in The Missing Sync greys it out, but
has no other effect; it's still hung forever.
top shows that The Missing Sync.app is using about 30-40% of my CPU.
From the output of sample, it looks like most of that is just for
updating the progress bar. (40% of my CPU for a progress bar?
that's sad.)
If I force quit it, syncing won't work again. I have to restart my
Powerbook, or at least stop and restart all the daemons that go with it.
I'm attaching the sample output of everything that might be
involved. Anyone have any suggestions?
Paul
