[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Failed Sync

After a week of flawless operation, suddenly all my hotsyncs are 
failing.  After the usual wait, I am greeted with this:

Tuesday, August 2, 2005 8:37 AM
  |stuPalm| Calendar records could not be retrieved from the Palm, the 
connection to the device may have been lost.
  Conduit stuPalm generated exception NSSyncConduitException: Calendar 
records could not be retrieved from the Palm, the connection to the 
device may have been lost..
  can't connect to the device to synchronize stuPalm.

...and it looks like no calendar items have synced.  Any ideas?
