[missing-sync-palmos-talk] can't sync to Palm Desktop with T3 in Mac OS 10.3.9

Traded my Palm IIIxe for a Tungsten T3 last winter, have procrastinated 
syncing it with my Mac until now because of prev frustration with 
HotSync. Hoping to avoid hassles I
1)upgraded Palm Desktop to 4.2.1 revb,then 2)installed MS 4.0.5v63 on 
my TiBook running OS 10.3.9. I removed all HotSync items from my 
startup list and trashed all the HotSync and Transport Manager items I 
could find,held my breath and tried my first T3 USB cradle sync with 
MS. Something seemed to happen, a lengthy log was generated,and I was 
able to install the MS prc file to the T3, but only one of my  44 
contacts from the Palm Desktop addressbook appeared on the T3, and 
nothing from my  PD datebook showed up in the Calendar on the t3. I 
tried setting up a conduit set just for the datebook and addressbook, 
Mac overwriting handheld, but per the sync log and per the results on 
the handheld,"nothing happened".
I'm not trying to do anything complicated yet , just get my  contact 
data and datebook to sync the way it used to via HotSync to my IIIxe. I 
searched the MS knowledgebase and read every message posted to this 
group in the past 3 months, plus reading the MS manual and can't find a 
way to use Missing Sync to put contacts and appointments on my T3. I 
would appreciate some help .
