IN my experience using the same user name on the next device, I find 
it's best to rename the backup folder so nothing moves too quickly 
over.  That gives you full control and eliminates device specific 
issues.

If you have not travelled too far along with the Treo, you might do a 
hard reset and try again.  Once you have the Entourage data set, you 
can install or restore specific files.  The 650 is a touch more finicky 
than other devices.  I'd definitely recommend going slow and backing up 
(backupman or backupbuddy) as you go and feel good about what is 
working.  The new file system tends to freak out on some programs, 
though there is no sure way to know beforehand.
