[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Internet Sharing not working (but HotSync & Finder mount DOES)

Ok, after verifying that I do have the right USB cable connected, and 
that I can HotSync AND I can mount the SD card of my Treo600 (so I know 
the connections are working), I am having a problem.

Internet Sharing is NOT working.  The Treo says "signing on" but never 
does (the icon on the menu bar DOES change) but I eventually get

	Error PPP timeout
	(0x1231)

10.3.9 with all security patches (including today's 2005-004) applied.

What should I try?  I've rebooted the Treo
