[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Re: problems since 10.3.9

Because everyone can use a good laugh now and then, I'll explain what 
happened.

For those of you paid by the second, the short version is this: I was 
NOT having any problems with Missing Sync.


The longer version is: PEBKAC

It was late, we're in a hotel, and the lights were out except for my 
Powerbook screen.  I plugged in my Treo and saw that the light turned 
solid (indicating that it was plugged into the wall).  I then plugged 
the USB port into the Powerbook.

Only problem was that I apparently threw BOTH of my USB cables into the 
bag, and they got tangled up.  When I pulled them out and set them up, 
both of them were tangled together.

Result?  I had the Treo plugged into the right connector which was 
plugged into the wall, but I was plugging in the USB port from the 
OTHER cable into the Powerbook.

Eventually I gave up, but when I came back to it this morning in the 
light of the day, I immediately saw what had happened.

D'oh.

Anyway, now that the proper cord is plugged in, everything is working 
dandily.

Feel free to commence mocking.
