FWIW I definitely agreee (especially since I just got a 1GB shuffle
which has remarkable sound quality and is so tiny it weighs less than
the earphones I use (and cost less too...:-)). The rare times I've tried
to use MS to add songs to the card it virtually closes down iTunes for
ages, and the transfer over USB 1 is pants, as the young people rather
eloquently say (or did ten years ago). Since none of the Palms even sold
now use faster (and we're not al using new ones), it seems like a hell
of a bottleneck to set up a nice feature for, like buying a nice sofa
and having to carry it home. The only way round is a fast card reader,
which means you're not using MS anyway. QED...
