Great, that works - after installing, uninstalling and reinstalling
endlessly today the Memory Stick now mounts on the desktop and in iTunes.
Unfortunately my Clie (NX73V) still refuses to sync - the screen shows all
three icons lit up, but on my Powerbook Missing Sync doesn't switch to the
mini window with progress bars (although the Synchronisation button stays
depressed now). After a couple of minutes the Clie states that "the
connection between your handheld computer and the desktop was lost, etc..."
