[missing-sync-palmos-talk]

I have had to replace my hard drive and am reinstalling software.  My
question is whether or not I need to install Palm OS 4 Desktop in addition
to Missing Sync to get everything to work correctly.  I don't use Palm
Desktop anymore as I prefer the Mac iCal, addressbook, iSync, etc. 
However, I don't know if the other conduits in the Palm HotSync are
necessary.  The basic question is, do I need to reinstall PalmDesktop
prior to reinstalling Missing Sync.
