Just got missing sync. Can't get it to work with my new Treo 650.
Previously had Treo 600 and used Apple I-apps and Isync to sync
contacts and dates.
Emailed customer supports no reply yet.
Installed palm update that came with phone then copied my user folder
and renamed the copy then installed missing sync enabled Isync conduit
and then tried to sync for first time.
I either get all contacts deleted form computer or nothing happens and
log reports everything is a okay.
Either way all I want to do is get all my old contact using Apple's
IApps to sync in my new Treo 650.
Any help or step by step square one solutions would be greatly
appreciated. Here is what I submitted.
brand: palmone
model: Treo 650
os: 4.2.1
missingsync: 4.0.2
macos: 10.3.5
addressbook: 3.1.2
ical: 1.5.2
itunes: 4.7
iphoto: 4.0.3
isync: 1.5
syncs_ical: yes
problem: Treo will not sync using missing sync. It will not update /
copy my old Treo 600 info on to new
phone a Treo 650. It will not sync my Apple address book, iCal, etc,
via Isync conduit. I have not used Palm
software for contact managment for years. I prefer the simplicity and
intergration of Apple Iapps. I have
used Isync conduit via Palm hot sync and had been very happy. That was
on the Treo 600. Now I can not
even establish an initial first sync to get all my contact,
appointments, pics or email on to my new Treo 650.
steps: Steps? Nothing syncs. Have never been able to sync. Here's what
I did as best as I can remember
since I spent all day Sunday and nothing worked. Installed Palm update.
Copied and then renamed copy of
backup folder Downloaded Missing Sync. installed Tried to sync. Nothing
transferred over. All contacts on
host Computer erased. Nothing made it to phone. Tried several different
configurations too many to list.
Nothing works. Tried hard reset on phone and new user and renaming
phone. Nothing.
