Anthony,

I have a Clie TH55 with Wifi capability.  I'm not syncing through 
Missing Sync or through the Palm software. I'm able to run the auto 
update program through my home wireless connection.  There is a 
separate Auto update icon that installs with ePocrates.  It's a black 
square (with little wings).  When you open it, you can enter the info 
to sync with the ePocrates servers (it may already be entered if you 
were able to install ePocrates once).  You can run this separately as 
long as you have an internet connection.

I'm including some instructions that the support staff at ePocrates 
sent me (pretty basic) - but it helps if you use Palm Desktop 
Software.  I had another issue with ePocrates but it fixed itself.

Please verify/update the Epocrates Autoupdate settings using the 
following procedure:

I. Verify you have Palm Desktop Software 4.0 or above installed on your Mac.
1. Open your Palm Desktop Software.
2. Click Palm Desktop (or the Apple key) on the menu bar then click 
About Palm Desktop.
3. If you do not have the latest version of Palm Desktop Software, 
please download it from your handheld manufacturer's website.
4. After installing Palm Desktop 4.0, double click RxPro1PalmM (the 
VISE icon) and follow the on-screen installation instructions.

II. Manually add AutoUpdate server.
1. Tap AutoUpdate on your Palm.
2. If the Server says "Untitled," enter the following information:
- Server: Epocrates Server
- Server Addr: sync6.epocrates.com
- Username: Your ePocrates username
- Password: Your ePocrates password
- Enabled box checked
3. Close AutoUpdate.
4. On your Mac, locate and double click RxPro1PalmM (the VISE icon).
5. When asked if you have HotSynced with a Windows computer, select 
"Yes" then "Quit."

III. Enable your AutoUpdate conduit.
1. Open your Palm Desktop Software.
2. From the menu bar, click "HotSync" then "Conduit Settings."
3. Select "Epocrates AutoUpdate" conduit, click Conduit Settings, 
select "Custom Synchronize the files" then click "Make Default."
4. Connect to the Internet then HotSync.

Epocrates should update during your next HotSync.
