I can confirm that MissingSync (at least 4.0.2) does _not_
listen for any incoming Network HotSync connections on 14327/14238, as
shown by Ethereal running on OSX with my DLP and NetSync plugins.

I can, however, launch pilot-xfer on OSX in listen mode on the
network port, and have it successfully accept incoming HotSync from
Windows, Linux, and FreeBSD (5.3), without any issues, so I know the
packets are physically getting to the box itself. I was able to do a
full backup of about 28M of data on my T3 over the network to the OSX
machine in just over 2 minutes, using "raw" pilot-link itself.

Is there some trick to get MissingSync to listen for incoming
connections on the standard LANSync ports? I've toggled the option in
Preferences to enable Network sync, but it doesn't appear to actually
do anything.
