Mac OS X creates a meta-file (to hold things like custom icon, icon
position, and other finder type data) for each regular file on a DOS
filesystem (such as the card).

If you move the files to the stick via the finder, this is normal.

If you move the files via our iTunes plug-in, the plug-in is supposed to
automatically delete the meta-files after the copy, so you should not see
them after the copy is complete.

For those using non-Sony devices (ie, SD cards), we have an option to
automatically "clean up" these meta files on dismount.
