Thanks, Scott. I really appreciate your help. I downloaded and
installed 4.0.2b6. I also upgraded to OS X 10.3.6, repaired
permissions, and followed your instructions about disabling sync for
all users. Then I tried to sync from my user account (not an admin
account--I only use one admin account, and only use it for
administration tasks), but had exactly the same problems as before.
When I try to add a file to the Install list, I get the error "The file
'TimeCopy.prc' is not recognized as a valid file type that can be
installed."
When I try to sync it doesn't work at all, with different results for
different conduits. For example, with only the Backup conduit turned
on, I get the message "An error occurred during sync. Please check the
sync log for details." But the log is empty. With only the Mark/Space
MemoPad conduit turned on (and set for the Palm to overwrite the Mac),
I get no error message, but no files get copied.
I tried all of this with only one user signed in. Also, when I do try
it from the admin account, everything works fine. The problem only
occurs in non-admin accounts.
Any other insight? I have contacted support, but haven't heard back yet.
Thanks again
Darrell
