Might this explain why Fast User Switching has not been working for me 
for some time? Here, we have the latest stable version of MS running on 
an iBook (which my wife uses to sync with her Palm) and on an iMac 
(which I use to sync with mine).

Fast User Switching has been erratic on both systems for some time and 
I've been struggling to work out the problem. If this is indeed the 
cause of the problem then it should save me the time and effort it 
takes to reinstall Panther on both the machines.
