[missing-sync-palmos-talk] iSync with multiple computers

HI,
I am researching using iSync, AddressBook, iCal in place of the Palm
4.2.1 desktop on both of MAC- a desktop and a laptop (work and less
work respectively). I found an Apple Support document that makes me a
bit uncomfortable and I wonder if the list csn comment?

The Apple Support Doc #151053 and it states that multiple machines
using iSync should _not_ be used to sync to Palm devices as they will
"not transfer data" reliably!?!

My portable handheld device is a Clié NX73, made by notably a
not-MAC-friendly company (Sony). It's not too unusual that they're not
friendly as they compete in several different arenas- Sony is heavily
wedded to M$.

Here is the full text.

Does Missing Sync change that reality? Why, or why not? I have bought
the latest Missing Sync and while I understand some of the
short-comings and benefits, I'm unsure if this will (ever?) fit my
needs, as it doesn't now.

Here are the issues of importance to me with whichever desktop, sync
solution used:
1. Data integrity (not real good with HotSync now).
2. Mac based (Palm requires a Missing Sync) solution. Apple has clearly
stated incompatibilities with multiple desktop solutions. Compatibility
between two Mac desktops is an absolute requirement.
4. All my conduits and data backed up each time. Some conduits and
databases fail with Missing Sync/iSync now. A failure occurs after
syncing Fitaly keyboard (FV Setup), for example. Others have been
noted.
5. In this period of transition to some new Palm OS (5,6?), and many
new devices- how will OS4 compatibility be assured?
