I don't think PsysLaunc is a conduit, but a palm database file (.pdb) and
that you may have hung during a backup of that file.

Does this still happen, or was it a one time thing?

Missing Sync does have a log. You can hit command-L or choose View Log from
the Window menu.

I'm not sure what you are asking regarding the "sticky file" below?
