The Missing Sync 4.0.1 will sync fine with the T5. We are testing an update
that will include a new version of the Missing Sync.prc to better support
the T5 and include updated iPhoto and iTunes plugins that work very well
with the new Drive Mode. So, with the update you can use either the new
Drive Mode or the Missing Sync.prc to mount the volume.

We hope to post the 4.0.2b5 update very soon at www.markspace.com/testing!

As for transferring data from one handheld to the other, the easiest thing
to do is the very first time you sync the new handheld you will be asked to
pick a handheld name. If you want the T3 data on the T5 choose the name
currently assigned to the T3. However, you should NOT sync two handhelds to
the same handheld name. So you should either enter a new name for the T5, or
perform a Hard Reset on the T3 and sync it with a new handheld name.
