[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Phone/PDA

I am seeking feedback on the best combination phone/pda device to use with my Mac G4 powerbook.  I want to not only sync my address and calendar apps but also use email.  

Currently using Entourage as a mail client on the mac but I'm open to other apps if necessary.  So far the Treo looks like the best choice but this has been difficult to evaluate so I'm hoping to gain some insight here from others more knowledgeable on the subject.  

Which devices work the best and do I need the missing sync or other software?
