[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Does this Missing Sync thing really work?

Hi all,

Finally got around to purchasing Missing Sync for Palm OS (and the promised
free upgrade to 4.0). Downloaded v2.02 and installed. It's nothing like what
I originally expected! I thought it was going to be a replacement to the
HotSync Manager and there'll be some reordering of all the Hotsync conduits.
But it's nothing like it. All the pre-purchase info certainly gave no info
on this account.

Anyway. It certainly does what's advertised. But gosh, it's rather
convoluted in its implementation especially the method by which one gets
AvantGo to hotsync. Well, I am happy that at least I can do this without
going off to my PC laptop. Fingers crossed that the upcoming 4.0 will
address some of these issues.

So does anyone have any tips on the use of Missing Sync for a new user? Any
configuration or procedural steps I should watch out for? Thanks!
