[missing-sync-palmos-talk] can't load TungstenC SD card

Hi,
I have seen a similar message with a Treo on this list. I can't mount 
the SD card on my Tungsten C with Missing Sync 4 (version 2 worked fine 
for me). It worked once, then never again. Disk Utility recognises the 
card as unmounted, but cannot mount it either. I have performed all 
possible preventive measures, to no avail.

Any idea what I should do?

Other strange things that happened during installation, besides the 
quit after registration, were:
- interference with with my Logitech mouse
- installation deactivated my root account (have never seen this 
before, although being a long-time Mac User; current system iMac Flat 
Panel OSX 10.3.4)
