[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Problem with Missing Sync 4.0

I fall upon my own petard......my sync problems are cured.
This was the problem:
I have a folder in my documents folder called "Palm" as expected, but it is
an alias to a folder on my portable drive. I do this in order to make sure
that I don't duplicate data between home and office. This is done with
Entourage as well as itunes and the iPhoto library. Has always worked fine
until now......
It looks as if Missing Sync cannot see the alias and that is why the
software was misbehaving.
I have eliminated the 'Palm' alias and my the sync is working
great...although I will miss not having the setup I had.
Still unsure of why I don't see any reference to 'Network' in the Handhelds
window, and why my SD card is not seen for installs?
Hope this helps others.
