Open
~/Library/Preferences/com.markspace.missingsync.palmos.plist
in a text editor and look for a line like
<key>Registration Code</key>
<string>1234567890 (Serial Number: Error, please contact s</string>
where the numbers are different. If you find a line like this replace it by
<key>Registration Code</key>
<string>1234567890</string>
and save. In my case this enabled me to launch the app again and sync.
I have reported this to Mark/Space Support.
