[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Problem with Missing Sync 4.0

I reported the following to Mark Space tech support this evening but it
appears I may have to wait one or two working days for a reply. In the
meantime, has anyone else had a problem similar to this.

I installed Missing Sync 4.0 this afternoon (after paying $40 and
downloading it). The installation went without a hitch until the first
synchronisation with my Tungsten T2. My Palm chimed to indicate that
the synchronisation has finished successfully but the display on my
screen indicated that synchronisation of one file was still in
progress. AFter 20 minutes of nothing happening, I clicked on cancel.
Nothing happened. After another 20 minutes I forced a quit from Missing
Sync. However, all attempts to run it again have failed. When I click
on the Missing Sync icon in the dock, the conduit list flashes on the
screen and the application quits. Pushing the Hotsync button on my
cradle is no better. The Missing Sync icon in the Dock bounces one or
twice and the app quits while the Handheld tells me the synchronisation
has been performed successfully. Interestingly enough, I am able to
mound the SD memory card on my desktop.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Missing Sync. I have run Diskwarrior
to make sure the hard disk is working properly. All to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated.
