thanks. It seems that the conduit really dislikes having colons in the
title of documents. HSM also seems to choke - usually- on this so the
bug may be in MNT not either of the conduit managers. 

Still trying to get this thing sorted - all kinds of strange errors
occurring (often user ones...)

So at least, a tip for user of MacNoteTaker -avoid colons in titles!
