[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Installing Missing Sync for Palm OS v4 on 10.2.8 - Looping

That sounds similar to my experiences. Indeed, my install ceased at the 
same file. I have kept the previous version of MS as well as Palm 
Desktop, but...

I succeeded in installing the software this by using my wife's user 
account (we're both administrators) but can now only synchronise if 
logged in as her. If I log in as myself the software starts, gives me a 
spinning beach ball for thirty seconds or so and then quits. I've 
looked for a crash log and cannot find one.

I'm running OS X.3.4 on an iMac G3 500 with 384 megabytes.
