0) Print out these instruction or write them somewhere other than your
computer!
1) quit all applications
2) open Netinfo manager in Utilities
3) Enable Root User (Security Menu)
4) Set a password
5) Quit Netinfo Manager and restart
6) log in (I think it says 'other' or you have to type 'root' or
something similar: it won't show 'root' as an option directly)
7) Run the installer to *uninstall* Palm Desktop.
8) Run the installer to reinstall PD
9) Restart
10) Go to Netinfo manager and Disable Root user
11) See if it worked...
I had to do this twice as I kept getting an error. I have yet to use BT
for syncing with PD on X.3.2 which is a really really irritating
situation as I went to a PB 12" AND a Tungsten almost purely to be able
to sync over Bluetooth. But I can run it throught the cable. Once you
get it working it seems to stick...
