[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Avantgo problem

I have never been successful syncing to Avantgo.

I corresponded with the folks at MarkSpace many times but never succeeded. I
gave up. Has anyone actually synced with Avantgo?

I have MissingSync 2.0.

I follow all the steps in the manual but when I get to "tap the Connect
button" in network prefs, it tries to sign on until I get error: PPP timeout
(0x1231).

My Service is Missing Sync. The details are
Connection type: PPP
Query DNS checked
IP address: Automatic checked.

I have given up and am curious if this Avantgo really ever works.
