You've pointed out some feature that you prefer in Palm Desktop over
iCal. You can still synchronize your PIM data with the Palm Desktop
software. The Palm Desktop installer installs both the Palm Desktop
software and HotSync Manager software. The Missing Sync only replaces
the HotSync Manager software.
The User's Guide explains how to sync with a few popular PIM apps
including Entourage, iCal/Address Book, and the Palm Desktop software.
