We would like to add this feature to our product(s), but do not have an 
estimate on when it will be available. The AppleScripts, as you've 
indicated, are not reliable, so when we add this feature, we want it to 
work seamlessly and well. For instance, the AppleScripts require you to 
choose sharing over AirPort or Ethernet; the user really should not 
have to decide. We are working as hard as we can on our products and 
there are a number of things to do for them.

This feature is definitely one that comes up often and we hope to 
address it.
