Jerry,

Strangely, I have a Zire 71 and an iBook, and have exactly the same 
problem.  I purchased the Missing Sync Net Sharing 1.0 at the beginning 
of the year and have never, ever got it to work.

It timeouts rather than connect.

I have scoured the help links for a clue, tried may different solutions 
(ie avantgo server IP address rather than DNS name, port number 443 
rather than 80). but never any success.

Markspace have been no help at all, and seem to not be willing to invest 
time in the issue and have little understanding of what goes on beyond 
their product (ie the MAC and Network) for possible sources of 
connection interference.

Very disappointing.  Obviously I will not be a repeat Markspace customer.
