I know that the list on the web site doesn't list them, but are the
handspring visor edge devices supported. I am considering getting one
and want to know if it will work with my ibook. I was also considering
getting a zire (the $99 one without a camera...). Can anyone suggest
anything here?
Thanks in advance,

No. The only devices supported are devices that run Palm OS 4.0 or
higher and have VFS (Virtual File System) support, e.g. the devices
must support a removable storage card. In addition, not all devices
that meet these requirements work. The devices listed on our website
are the only ones that we have verified work with the software.

The $99 Zire is not supported (it doesn't have a card slot); we are
working on supporting the Zire 71 (the one with the camera and has a
card slot), but due to changes that Palm, Inc. made with the hardware,
it is not currently supported.

I know that the list on the web site doesn't list them, but are the
handspring visor edge devices supported. I am considering getting one
and want to know if it will work with my ibook. I was also considering
getting a zire (the $99 one without a camera...). Can anyone suggest
anything here?
Thanks in advance,
damon

Ok, so it has to have a card slot to work with the missing sync
software. I know this is a disscusion list for the missing sync
software, but does anyone know if the palm desktop for mac sync's with
ical and iaddress?
Thanks in advance,
damon

See the Apple product "iSync" for that feature.
