[missing-sync-hiptop-talk] Also I can't add device to isync?

I'm totally lost here. Can anyone help me with a step by step.  I've  
read the manual and I'm stumped.  There's no Sync Log to attach,  
either.  Try uninstall and reinstall nothing seems to work...
