I just performed a synch. However, I think it's time for Mark/Space to work on an update with the following features: * Better identification of "corrupt" address book and calendar entries with the ability to fix them. Right now, it's a shot in the dark. I covered this topic in my recent blog entry on www.rinzai.com. However, I am still having problems with a corrupt calendar right now, which I have temporarily just left off synch. I need to get this resolved, as the calendar in question is my work calendar! I sure would like some tool,s from Mark/Space to help identify and resolve problems like this. * Synchronization of the instant messenger contact fields. This does not come across from Address Book right now. * The ability to limit the synch range of calendar entries. I don't want it to synch old calendar items, nor do I want to go into iCal and have it auto delete old entries. I'd like to have iCal store a history of my meetings, without deleting them. The best solution here is for Mark/Space to add this as a preference. * The ability during a synch to select which records on the Sidekick 3 will overwrite the records on the Desktop, based on which record is newer. I am always fearful that a synch is going to mess up the master data on my Desktop. I'd like to see which records from the Sidekick 3 are newer than the Desktop and do an individual approval in those cases. * Better error notification during sync. The log often will show an error, but the application will hang with no notification. * Status and controls in the Mac OS X menu bar. Please reply to this thread with your own update requests!
