[missing-sync-hiptop-talk] No Support for Nicknames

It has been posted here that there is currently no support for nicknames.
The way I understand it, any nicknames are deleted upon sync. If in fact
there is no documentation (if I am wrong about that, I apologize in advance)
and if nicknames are deleted rather than ignored, this would be, in my
opinion, an irresponsible oversight. I use nicknames routinely as a means of
creating subcategories or groups (since hiptop OS doesn't support groups). I
have now lost very important nickname data, and I do not believe I was
warned that this would happen.
