James,

Launch our app, hold down the option key and choose "Missing Sync for  
hiptop" menu and choose the "Debug Options" item.

In the window that appears, choose "Unregister Sync Clients" and  
accept the message that appears.

Now synchronize. If you're comfortable with deleting your device  
data, set the checkbox to do so (highly recommended in this case).  
Let us know your results.
