[missing-sync-hiptop-talk] Calendar sync problems, continued

I'm still having problems with calendar sync, as I mentioned in
previous postings. Thanks to Arlo for the advice on rebooting the
Hiptop to fix the calendar. This doesn't always help - but it has on a
few occasions. It seems that the trick is to leave the calendar alone
for several hours, reboot, and then the application is usable. Before
then, you can click the calendar application, but nothing happens - it
will not let you open it and view the data. Is this because it is
processing the entries from the sync?
I have encountered two new problems in the past few days...
New Calendars: If I add a new calendar (as in a new iCal calendar, not
just a new entry) after the initial sync, it fails to add/update the
new calendar to my Hiptop. It's almost as though it only updates the
calendars that were present on the first synch. I just now purged my
calendar on my Hiptop and am re-synching. I hope this will fix the
problem.
Old Calendar Entries: My Hiptop reported that I have over 1,000
calendar entries, even though iSync preferences indicate that meetings
older than two week should be ignore. I am confused. Will it still sync
calendar entries older than two week or is this because it is
populating recurring meetings out to 2010 and beyond?
I look forward to any advice on my problems. Thank you.
