[missing-sync-hiptop-talk] Can't open Calendar application on Hiptop after synch

I am unable to open the Calendar application on my Hiptop after sync. 
 From the main menu, it does show an upcoming event from the sync, but 
when I click the scroll button to open the application, nothing 
happens. Is this a problem that anyone else has experienced? I have 
tried rebooting and resyncing several times, to no avail.
