Mine stopped syncing after a bit and I couldn't figure out why.. Well I 
looked on the support site and found this:

Problem
  User is trying to sync using the Missing Sync for hiptop and is not 
able to do so.

Solution
  The Missing Sync for hiptop allows you to sync your iCal and Address 
Book with your hiptop device by way of a third party server maintained 
by Danger, Inc. Danger has a limit on the number of times you can sync 
to their server in any 24 hour period. The maximum number of syncs 
allowed is 8 in any 24 hour period.

  When that limit has been reached, you will not be able to sync until 
24 hours has passed since your last sync. We realize this may cause 
inconvenience for some users. However, this is a limit that Danger has 
placed and does not have anything to do with the functionality of the 
Missing Sync for hiptop.
