Probably easier than fixing it, and certainly prevents a lot of
uncomfortable questions about future upgrades.
After all, why would anyone want an infrared port on their pda/phone?
You can always just type in someone else's contact info when you
meet, right?

You're falling behind, Danger. You had a device with great potential
and you blew it. Even my wife, who got a B&W after me and then went on to
a color sidekick, has given up on you and your empty promises. The Sk2
is too little, too late, and started off obsolete. At least the original
B&W model was impressive.
