So did I, but I'm not sad about it. When my 1 year contract on my B&W
sidekick ran out, I got a P800 instead of a color sidekick. It did
everything out of the box the sidekick said it would eventually do, and
far more.

Oh, and there are hundreds of apps of which I can install as many as I
want because it has removable storage.

My wife is considering one of the Blackberry models next, as soon
as her color sidekick's year runs out. She's an OS X user and
wants more than anything to be able to sync her addresses (she
has hundreds of them) and all of her appointments with her laptop
and desktop. I'm here in the hopes that will be possible.

You don't need to sell me. My wife has already decided on one. I'm
still weighing my options. The P910 is out now, as is the Nokia
Communicator 9500, which has not only filled the huge gap by adding
GPRS but also added Bluetooth and Wifi.

I like Bluetooth, and both my phone and my laptop support it, but
I find myself using IR more often for the syncing. I also use IR
so my pda (Sharp Zaurus) or laptop can use the phone's GPRS connection
for internet access at around 53kbps. Sweeeeeet.

I did that with my Sidekick by making a cable.

My wife will also buy it. If Danger pulls the stick out while my wife
still has the sidekick, we'll buy that version too.

The competition is picking up and Danger isn't.
