Sadly, I gave up waiting for Danger.

I tried out the new Blackberry 7100t and went for it. It's light, pushes
email, has a reasonable browser, and with the addition of third-party
software lets me sync my Entourage contacts and appointments (or iCal/AB or
Now Up to Date and Contact). The display is gorgeous.

In case you're wondering about the keyboard, it's SCARY good. Sure-type
predictive typing just works. 95% of the time I just type what I want to and
it comes out right. If it makes a mistake, it only does it once -- it learns
from my corrections. It also reads in my address book so it gets names right
most of the time too.

It's only available through T-Mobile, but with rebate I got it for $199.
They have a Blackberry plan with unlimited web, email, IM, SMS, and 1000
anytime minutes for $59.95. International roaming, too.

It comes with Bluetooth (crippled so it can't be used for sync, a real
shame) that works well with a wireless headset. With the third-party
software I can also charge it through my PowerBook (the charger is USB, same
as the syncing).

The third-party software works. But if Mark/Space ever develops a Missing
Sync for Blackberry, I'll be one of the first to buy it. I wanted to give
you my money for SideKick sync, I'm be happy to pony up for Blackberry ;-)

The new Treo 650 looks sweet too, but at $600 a bit pricey for me. And it
doesn't do push.

Bye, Danger.
