I went looking for Mac sync on T-Mobile and found this help document:

events, to do items, and contacts to and from Apple's iCal and 
Address Book desktop applications with a Hiptop. The program syncs 
all the PIM data (Calendar, To Dos, and Address Book) for Mac,

If T-Mobile even has this on their site, we shouldn't have a problem 
with them "allowing" folks to use it.  Maybe MarkSpace just is 
unhappy with whatever deal they offer.
