1. NEWS: Mark/Space Acquires MySync Mac-to-Mac Sync Software
    <http://www.markspace.com/pressrelease/060629.html>
    <http://www.mildmanneredindustries.com/mysync/>

We are pleased to announce that Mark/Space has acquired MySync from
MildMannered Industries. MySync, currently available as a public
beta, allows users to synchronize contacts, calendar events, tasks
and more between two or more Macs on a network.

MySync employs Apple's Sync Services technology in Mac OS X 10.4
"Tiger" to sync the same types of information supported by .Mac
syncing. Besides Address Book and iCal, more and more applications
are using Sync Services, including Bare Bones Yojimbo, Chronos SOHO
Organizer, Market Circle Daylight, Microsoft Entourage and all four
Missing Sync applications. The information that these applications
send to Sync Services can be synced Mac-to-Mac using MySync.

2. BETA: Windows Mobile 5 and Intel Support in v2.5 Beta
    <http://www.markspace.com/testing/>

Version 2.5 of The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile, which adds
support for devices running Windows Mobile 5 (WM5) and runs natively
on Intel and PowerPC Macs, has just entered the beta phase.

This update has required a great deal of engineering work, since
Microsoft completely revamped communication with WM5 devices;
connections, security and syncing all changed with WM5. We're almost
finished with development on this exciting product, and we're looking
forward to releasing it commercially.

In the meantime, if you already own version 2.0, you can download and
try the v2.5 beta from our testing page. If you don't own v2.0, v2.5
will be a free upgrade for all v2.0 owners, so you don't need to
worry about an upgrade price if you want to purchase a v2.0 license
to use with the 2.5 beta.

Remember, this is beta software, so be sure to back up your important
information before installing and using the beta.

You can learn more about the v2.5 beta and find links to Known
Issues, the Beta Bug Report form and how to download it here: <http://
www.markspace.com/testing/>.

3. NEW/UPDATED: Missing Sync for Sony PSP, v1.0.1
    <http://www.markspace.com/psp/>

Last month, Mark/Space shipped a brand new product: The Missing Sync
for Sony PSP. This latest addition to the Missing Sync family
increases the functionality and the fun-factor of Sony's PlayStation
Portable gaming rig. It does all the nifty stuff that you'd expect it
to, like encode videos into the PSP's required format, resize and
download iPhoto album photos and copy music and podcasts from iTunes,
but it also does some totally new stuff that makes the PSP even more
useful.

The PSP has one of the best mobile web browsers in existence, and we
realized that we could leverage that into some totally cool features
for the user. The Missing Sync for Sony PSP takes Address Book and
iCal data from Sync Services and it generates web pages with that
information on the PSP's Memory Stick. That means that your entire
contacts list and all your calendars are right there in your PSP.
We've done the same with Safari bookmarks and notes from the included
Mark/Space Notebook app. And of course, we give you several fun
themes for viewing the data.

Then we took it one step further, and we added a feature that lets
you download web pages, blogs and RSS feeds for offline viewing. That
means that you will always have something to read, even when you're
in a Wi-Fi dead zone.

The Missing Sync for Sony PSP sells for $29.95 (download). To learn
more about or purchase The Missing Sync for Sony PSP, go to: <http://
www.markspace.com/psp/>.

4. FREE OFFER: Missing Sync for Windows Mobile--Cell Phone Bundle
    <http://www.imatephonestore.com/macsync.asp>

We've joined up with the good folks at On The Go Solutions to offer a
free copy of The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile (with a free upgrade
to the upcoming 2.5 version) with the GSM i-mate Jam. The i-mate Jam
is a Pocket PC Phone Edition device, which means that it adds
smartphone functionality to a fully-featured Pocket PC-style device
complete with a touch-screen and Pocket Outlook, Word and Excel.

The CD version of The Missing Sync, regularly $49.95, is included for
free. Check it out! <http://www.imatephonestore.com/macsync.asp>

5. TIPS & TRICKS: How to Get Google Calendars on Your Device
    <http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?answer=37648>

Google keeps coming up with more and more great web applications.
First it was mail, and now Google Calendar is all the rage. Google
even provides a special iCal-style URL for each Google Calendar that
you create, which allows you to subscribe to those calendars with
iCal. Once in iCal, those events can be synced through The Missing
Sync to any of the devices we support.

Google offers instructions on how to subscribe to Google Calendars
from iCal: <http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?
answer=37648>.

Unfortunately, subscribed calendars in iCal are read-only, which
means that you can't make any changes to Google Calendar events in
iCal. We're not aware of any utility that provides two-way
synchronization between iCal and Google calendar. If you'd like to
see Mark/Space do something about that, let us know by filling out
our New Product Request form: <http://www.markspace.com/
survey_newproduct.html>.

6. SUPPORT: Support Site Improvements - Landing Page and Search
    <http://www.markspace.com/support/>

Mark/Space is always working to improve the free support resources
that we make available for our customers. Most recently, we've made
two improvements that make getting the answer you're looking for much
faster and easier.

First, we've created a new support "landing page" that will help
direct you to the best part of our site for the information you need.
Many answers, such as those detailing misplaced registration codes or
supported devices are only one click away. From there, you'll also
find easy access to our Support Knowledgebase, which leads perfectly
into our next improvement...

We've also improved our Support Knowledgebase search feature to make
the search feature far more accurate by allowing searches to be
filtered by product. So if you're searching for help with a Bluetooth
connectivity issue with a Windows Mobile device, you won't receive
responses related to Palm OS Bluetooth support.
