The following is a copy of the e-mail I just sent (minus the app list):
Scott, again, I apologize for taking so long to write you back. Many unavoidable circumstances have come up. Below are the answers to your questions you wrote earlier (see bottom of e-mail):

1 & 2) I did remove all of MS Mail using Botzam Explorer, Filez, PowerRun, McFile, and the main Palm delete program (through Palm’s main launcher). Everything was deleted but one MarkSpace Mail file (less than 1K in size) spotted by both Filez and McFile. None of the other programs are even seeing it. I used Uninstall Manager to see if it spotted any leftovers this seemed to work on the last file.

3) The following applications are on my Tungsten C (long list – listed in earlier e-mail)

4) Having completely removed everything related to MS Mail, I re-downloaded the 2.0 version of MS Mail and reinstalled it. It still crashes when I try to read or delete mail that is downloaded to my Tungsten C. It does not crash when I create an outgoing message through MS Mail and view that. It even lets me delete the file.

Thanks again for your help!
After thinking about this more:

1) When you said you removed everything relating to MS Mail, how did
you do this?
2) Did you use the Launcher to delete MS Mail?
3) What other applications do you have on your device?
4) What happens if you completely remove it and reinstall? Are there
any messages? Can you create a new outgoing message and then view it?

I know that one of our support people is using a Tungsten C and hasn't
reported an issue.

My strong suspicion is that you didn't completely remove the old
version. The database format changed and if you still had portions of
the old one lying around, it could cause this type of problem.

Thanks.
