From mglists at gmail.com Tue Jul 11 10:45:25 2006 From: mglists at gmail.com (MikeG) Date: Tue Jul 11 10:45:27 2006 Subject: [Mail-PalmOS-Talk] Wish list for M/S Mail Message-ID: <22C80DF9-30D1-47D7-B45C-887F955505EC@gmail.com> Wow, is this ever a dead list. I hope somebody's reading this. I suppose it's a good sign, if lots of people are using the app but nobody posts. Then again it could mean that I've just paid for an app nobody uses! Yikes! I have some issues with Mark/Space Mail, and I wanted to see if maybe I'm missing something, or whether there's any chance these issues will be addressed in upcoming releases. (When was the last release, by the way?) *No search tool (How can I find a message by text-searching without using the main (and quite useless) Palm search tool? *Can't select multiple messages and file. Messages unselected. (Why can you select multiple messages and delete them, but not file them? It makes filing messages slow and painful.) *When sorted by Sender, read message, file, done takes you to the next sender, not the next message from the same sender. (A smaller beef, but it's a pain when you're filing messages the way the app forces you too now.) *When "Leave email on server" unchecked for Gmail account, email not deleted after download (I don't know if this is a GMail problem or whether M/S Mail isn't sending the right commands. Apple Mail seems to handle this task fine. *No archiving function - the only suggestion I see is to delete old messages. Why can't I just store them in a searchable fashion, say on an SD card? *No spam checking option (now I'm getting into wish list stuff) Anyway, I'll wait to see if anyone responds to this any time soon. Cheers, Mike G.
