Sorry it has taken me a while to write back. I went out of town for the
Thanksgiving holiday.
I made sure I deleted EVERYTHING that I could possibly find using FileZ,
McFile, and myWB (My WorkBench). I also used the original delete program
that comes on my Palm. I then installed the newest .PRC and downloaded one
message to MS Mail. The same thing happened. Everything went fine until I
tried to read or delete the mail. I did not have this problem with the older
version. Could you re-send me a copy of the older version (the version just
before this newest one) so that I could test and see if it starts working
again (I deleted mine)? I the meantime, I will gather up a list of all of
the programs that I have on my Tungsten C.
As a side note, something similar happened with DateBook5, and I had to
switch to Agendus. I would crash when I opened the program, yet the
programmer was unable to find a problem.
Thanks again for your help,
Shelly E. Middleton

Did you just reinstall the .prc? Did you download new mail? How many
messages did you download? We have not seen this problem and can't
duplicate it.
After thinking about this more:
1) When you said you removed everything relating to MS Mail, how did
you do this?
2) Did you use the Launcher to delete MS Mail?
3) What other applications do you have on your device?
4) What happens if you completely remove it and reinstall? Are there
any messages? Can you create a new outgoing message and then view it?
I know that one of our support people is using a Tungsten C and hasn't
reported an issue.
My strong suspicion is that you didn't completely remove the old
version. The database format changed and if you still had portions of
the old one lying around, it could cause this type of problem.
Thanks.
