Scott,
Does anybody make an email synchronization between the MacOSX and the
Palm OS? MacOS9?
On windows when you hotsync you can have your palm send and receive
email to an email application on desktop.

Very good. Crashed and crashed and crashed until I deleted the old
version, making sure the preferences delete was checked (LauncherX)
Then no problems, except...
STill crashes when I try to setup periodic mail checks.
Version 1.0.5 did this to me too.

Does it happen on periodic checks or when setting it up? What type of
Palm unit? What type of connection? What are your periodic settings?
Did you try to resolve this problem with support on the previous
version? This is the first we've ever heard of crashes during periodic
checks.

The instant I select the menu item, I get "SerialLinkmgr.c. Line 2332,
cant find refnum"
This is a Handspring Visor Platinum, patched to v. 3.5.2H1.5. The
connection is via Sprint Digital Link.
I don't have any idea about the periodic settings, since the last time I
was able to set them without a crash was 1.0.3
I don't really use the periodic function, I guess the beta tester in me
came out and I decided to try all the functions and report.
I tried to send this via the Visor, but the stupid SMTP server I use is
in one of it's "I don't know you" moods. :P

Thank you for the bug report; this will be fixed in the next version.
The beta tester in you knows that a complete bug report (which you have
provided here) is vital in us tracking down the bug. With this
information, I have reproduced the bug and fixed it. This crash is
specific to Visors only (not Treos).

I know. No excuse, but it was late and I was trying to finish up and get
to bed, and I wanted to get something "out there" so I wouldn't forget
(again). :)
Amazing response time! You guys rock!
The new timeout settings are great. Haven't had one of those timeout
issues since I installed the beta. Cool.
Now I just need to find a third party provider with a non schizoid SMTP
server. ;)

Every bug report is investigated. If not enough information is provided
and we can't reproduce the problem, it isn't fixed. The more complete
the bug report, the better chance we have at fixing the issues. It
takes a lot of time to investigate bugs and when the reports are
incomplete, the bug probably won't be fixed. While we do have an array
of Palm devices to test on, there are far too many combinations for us
to test, so we rely on users to help us. If you want bugs fixed, we
encourage you to report them. While we might not fix them immediately,
we do look at all bug reports.

Scott,
Does anybody make an email synchronization between the MacOSX and the
Palm OS?

Scott,
Does anybody make an email synchronization between the MacOSX and the
Palm OS?

Cool.
Now I just need to find a third party provider with a non schizoid SMTP
server. ;)

As I said, I given up to report any bug as both MS mail and fax has bug on

Every bug report is investigated. If not enough information is provided
and we can't reproduce the problem, it isn't fixed. The more complete
the bug report, the better chance we have at fixing the issues. It
takes a lot of time to investigate bugs and when the reports are
incomplete, the bug probably won't be fixed. While we do have an array
of Palm devices to test on, there are far too many combinations for us
to test, so we rely on users to help us. If you want bugs fixed, we
encourage you to report them. While we might not fix them immediately,
we do look at all bug reports.

Scott,
Does anybody make an email synchronization between the MacOSX and the
Palm OS?

Cool.
Now I just need to find a third party provider with a non schizoid SMTP
server. ;)

As I said, I given up to report any bug as both MS mail and fax has bug on
every new version release.
