Hi Tom!
My name is Steve Kendall, and I'm the VP of the LUNAR rocket
club. We'd be glad to have you join us for our monthly launches. Our
next scheduled model rocket launch is Dec 18th at Robertson Park in
Livermore. You can find directions to the park on our web site,
www.lunar.org. We also hold monthly high power (HP) rocket launches
during the wet season at a place called Snow Ranch which is about 30
miles east of Stockton. Again, info on the website.
Come on out to Livermore and meet a great group of people that
love to fly rockets. We are limited (due to urban encroachment) to "F"
class motors and below, with flights generally limited to below 1500'.
(We make allowances for small rockets and multi-stage small rockets.)
Operations start around 9am and run until 1pm weather permitting.
Hope to see you there,
Steve Kendall
