[BA-Rockets] newcomer seeking club; launch site info

Interesting. If they intended to shut the Berkeley Marina site  down, they never removed the sign.
Do you know why the site was lost and who made the decision? And do you mean that it is actually
illegal to launch  there even if you are working within the parameters posted there on the Berkeley
Parks sign? Has anyone communicated with Berkeley Parks and Rec specifically about this signed site?
My son and I have launched many As & Bs there on weekend mornings in the past few years, sometimes
with park personnel present in the area. It is not relevant to us anymore as my son has moved on to
bigger stuff and only launches at Livermore and other club sites now but I continue to see people
launching near that sign, as it appears to give explicit permission.
